Job Title: Lifting Assurance Lead / Appointed Person Role Purpose To act as the single competent authority for lifting operations, providing assurance, governance, and professional guidance across sites. The role ensures regulatory compliance, safe systems of work, and the development of long-term internal capability. Key Responsibilities Act as the accountable authority for lifting assurance. Standardise lifting governance across sites and ensure alignment with Safe to Start and regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain lifting policy, procedures, and documentation. Prepare, review, and approve lift plans and associated safety documentation, including contract lifts. Oversee and supervise complex lifting operations when required.
