We're working alongside a client in order to find them a CAT 3 Authorised Electrician for their SSEN substation project in the Hampshire area. You would be carrying out the outstanding HV and LV electrical installations, terminations, multicore/control wiring and protection panel works. In addition to this, you would support the testing and commissioning sequence. This is a contract role starting ASAP and finishing in early December. Working days are Monday to Friday, with programmed outage/out-of-hours working. You must have a current SSE/SSEN authorisation to Category 3 (CAT 3) Key responsibilities: Mount 132kV and 33kV surge arresters and complete their earthing and busbar/conductor connections. Complete disconnector and circuit breaker busbar connections to underslung post insulators, and CB terminal conductor connections to overhead copper busbars. We're working with a client who are looking for a Site Manager for their HV substation project in the Hampshire area. You would be leading the safe, compliant and on-programme delivery of A2MTA works whilst managing the site team, subcontractors and client through to energisation and handover. This is a contract role starting ASAP and lasting until December 2026. Typical working days would be Monday to Friday, with programmed outage/out-of-hours working. You must have an SSE (SSEN) authorisation at the Senior Appointed Person/Site Management level. Key Responsibilities: Take overall site responsibility for safe, compliant, on-programme delivery of the outstanding works to the programme completion date of 8 December 2026.
