We are actively seeking an experienced SENCo to commence in January 2026, 3 days per week on-going/long term. This position will be based in a primary school which is part of a Multi Academy Trust in Nottingham. For this role of SENCo you will be working closely with the Head Teacher to develop and oversee the school's Special Educational Needs (SEN) policy and provision. You will be co-ordinateing the day to day support for students with SEN or disabilities. Within this role you may have to advise and train colleagues on effective SEN teaching strategies if required and work closely with staff, parents, external agencies, and local authorities to ensure continuity of support. The SENCo will maintain a strategic overview of SEN provision across the school and ensure SEN policy objectives are reflected in the School Improvement Plan.
