Environmental Services Technician 37 hours per week, £13,26 per hour Monday-Friday 07:30 - 15:15 and/or 07:30-15:30 Environmental Services Technician You will be responsible for a range of duties which may include:- • Door to door refuse and recycling collections. This will involve emptying waste bins/containers from both residential and trade properties. • Bulky waste collections (larger household items, i.e. fridges, sofas, mattress and beds) from a range of premises also form part of your daily duties which involves removing bulky items from residential properties. • Identifying contaminated waste within recycling bins and removing it prior to the waste being transported to the processing plant. • Recording relevant data in relation to your service i.e. overloaded bins, bins not presented for collection, contaminated bins. • You will work in a team as part of the vehicle crew which includes a driver and usually one other loader.
