Job Purpose To provide strategic and operational technical leadership on fire safety, fire engineering, and associated building safety risks across the Councils housing portfolio. Candidate Responsibilities: Oversight of track-laying activities, including S&C (Switches and Crossings), plain line renewal, and ballast management Act as the technical point of contact on-site, ensuring works align with approved AFC drawings and specifications. Manage and produce Task Briefing Sheets, Work Package Plans (WPPs), and Quality Plans. Ensure all ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) are completed and signed off.
