SENCo required to commence asap for a an established secondary school part of a multi academy trust. Working 5 days of the week,(Apply online only) this could possibly be a long term position. You will have overall responsibility for pupils with SEND and identify children with additional needs. Have a good working knowledge of EHCP process, Assess - Plan - Do -Review and of any reasonable adjustments required for the individual. As a SENCo you will write and review IEPs, support plans and contribute to EHCPs. By working closely with the teachers, TA's parents and external professionals to include EPs, Speech & Language, CAMHS etc. you will build good working relationships. You will be a qualified teacher with QTS and have had substantial teaching experience, especially with SEND pupils.
