The role is a full-time temporary contract role initially 1 year with a possible extension working from Monday – Friday. Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our dynamic Blood Sciences Department. You will be required to work across our central laboratory at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and our satellite site at Wycombe Hospital, with deployment to either location as needed to support service delivery. You will support patient investigations by preparing, storing, and using reagents and consumables appropriately, performing manual laboratory procedures such as precision pipetting, reagent preparation, and complex analytical testing.
