DESPATCH OPERATIVE  – DAY SHIFT We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative for a large prestigious Logistics company based in Tamworth. This is a Temp – Possibly  Permanent role working on set day shift Working Hours: are Monday to Thursday: 08:00 AM to 04.30 PM Friday  07.30 to 03.00 PM Pay £12.82ph Key Responsibilities Booking Goods in and Out on the in house system Stock counting and inventory management Packing parts for stock or for outgoing orders Quality chekcing and inspecting parts  Line Feeding with materials using forklift or LLOP / PPT truck Making sure all delivery of goods are despatched to the correct departments Loading and unloading vans and Deliveries  Printing off paperwork Putting stock away in designated areas Updating information and orders on Excel spreadsheets  Moving stock using PPT or FLT as and when required  Some heavy lifting involved, within this manual role Stock taking of products ready for Audits - Accuracy is essential...

Warehouse operative required initially for a 3 month contract with possibility of permanent role. Must live within a 30 minute drive and own transport needed due to location. Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to count and identify different part numbers. The warehouse person will work Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30pm. Overtime is paid after 37 hrs at £20.25 per hour.
