QC Microbiology Technician - Swindon Opportunity: This is a brand new position that has been created due to expansion. My client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Microbiologist where you will be carrying out high volume microbiology testing on finished drug products. Duties and responsibilities include: * Conducting QC Microbiology testing on finished drug products. * Supporting the QC Scientist’s on microbiology testing. * Maintaining the microbiology laboratory. * Maintaining stock levels and preparation of logbooks. * Maintenance of lab equipment to include but not exclusively: Switching on VLF Class II cabinet Boiling water / bead baths, Media preparation (pH testing of media, autoclave waste & sterilisation of equipment). * Maintenance of weekly stock culture isolates. * Washing Micro Glassware and use of glass washer. * Conducting In-process sampling testing when required. * Collective Environmental...
