Job Title Clinical Psychologist / Practitioner Psychologist – Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment Services Responsible To Service Lead / Operational Lead Nurse Professionally Accountable To HOCS/Director of Nursing & Quality Role Purpose The post holder will play a central role within the ASD assessment pathway, undertaking specialist neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people in line with NICE guidance, evidence-based practice and organisational governance standards. The psychologist will contribute to the development and delivery of a gold-standard multidisciplinary assessment model focused on diagnostic quality, compassionate care, timely access, strong governance and clinically defensible outcomes.
