Our Clint a local authority are looking for a Wagon and Drag driver to work with there recycling and waste management team. Working days: Monday to Sunday working 5 days out of 7 Working Hours: (Apply online only) This role requires a Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV licence and involves moving heavy waste containers and Roll-on Roll-off. You will also need a valid Driver CPC card and a digital tachograph card. The lorry is fitted with a manual gearbox so previous experience using a manual gear box is beneficial. The job will involve: Operate a heavy Class 1 vehicle with a trailer attached in all types of traffic and weather. Load, unload, and secure heavy waste bins or containers so no rubbish falls out on public roads. Perform daily safety checks on the lorry and trailer before and after shifts.
