HGV2 Driver – Gateshead – £14.00 per hour + Overtime 🚚 We are looking for an experienced HGV2 Driver to join a busy and friendly timber merchant based in Gateshead. Hours & Pay: * Monday to Friday – 7:00am start, finish around 4:30pm * £14.00 per hour basic * Overtime after 8 hours at £21.00 per hour * Holiday pay accrued weekly (paid separately) The Role: As a HGV2 Driver, you’ll be delivering timber products to construction sites across the North East. You can expect up to 8 drops per day (sometimes 2 drops to the same site). Loads will need strapping down securely, and while many are forklifted off, you’ll need to assist with offloading when required.
