The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of materials, point of sale & equipment to meet business operations and customer demand. Key Responsibilities: Take delivery of goods and supplies Check for damaged or missing items Store goods appropriately Pick and pack orders for dispatch Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck Load goods for dispatch Liaising with 3rd party vendors to follow up on late or incomplete deliveries. Experienced and reliable Warehouse/Stores Assistant required to work as part of the Stores team at a friendly and traditional company based in Slough. The role will involve maintaining and checking stock, picking, packing and general warehouse/stores duties. Playing an important part in the busy stores, you will pick and process customer orders quickly and accurately whilst resolving any queries and provide general assistance including movement of products around the warehouse. Naturally, you will be enthusiastic and flexible in your approach and committed to providing a high quality, responsive service. Hours 7.25am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.25 to 12 noon on Friday. Frequent paid overtime available.
