A client within the Public Sector, based in Tyne and Wear, is currently recruiting for a Highways Principal Engineer to join their Highways and Transportation team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority highways engineering environment. The Role The key purpose of the role is to support the delivery of highways and civil engineering services, ensuring the Authority meets its statutory duties through effective asset management, planned maintenance, and project delivery in line with industry best practice.
