Section Engineer - Freelance (Inside IR35) About the Role A major infrastructure project is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join the delivery team on a long‑term freelance basis. The project covers a significant stretch of high‑profile civil engineering works, including earthworks, structures, drainage and utilities. As a Section Engineer, you will report to the Sub Agent and take responsibility for supervising the site engineering function from construction through to close‑out. You will support temporary works design coordination, allocate labour/plant/materials with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman, and ensure all works are delivered to the required standards, programme and budget.
