Your new role As a Bat Detector Ecologist, you will support environmental compliance on a major highway infrastructure project, carrying out bat activity surveys and monitoring to inform ecological mitigation and ensure works remain compliant with relevant legislation. Key responsibilities include: Undertaking dusk/dawn bat surveys Deploying, retrieving and analysing bat detectors Identifying bat species from acoustic recordings Assisting with ecological inspections and site monitoring Producing accurate field notes and survey data Supporting Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) activities where required.
