Role Summary Rubicon Consulting is recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters on behalf of Tier 1 framework contractors delivering critical national infrastructure across National Grid, SSEN Transmission and SP Energy Networks (SPEN) programmes. These are long-term, rolling contract positions offering continuity of work across multiple live substation and transmission projects for candidates operating through their own Limited Company. Successful applicants will be deployed to HV/EHV substation and associated mechanical installation works, with the opportunity to move between projects as programme demand dictates — offering strong job security and sustained earning potential for the right candidates.
