Power Electronics Engineer (SiC) Contract: 6 months initial (strong likelihood of extension), Outside IR35, Bristol, Remote Start: ASAP Project Scope The SiC Designer will be responsible for the design, simulation, and optimization of (SiC) power semiconductor devices, supporting next-generation high-voltage, high-efficiency, and high-reliability power electronics. The role spans early device concept through to prototype testing and manufacturable designs, collaborating closely with process, packaging, and system engineering teams. Devices include MOSFETs, diodes, and power modules for applications such as electric vehicles, renewable energy inverters, and industrial power systems. Technical Scope Design and simulate SiC power devices using TCAD or equivalent simulation tools.
