Welfare Labourer We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welfare Labourer for a new construction project in Edinburgh (EH3 area). Welfare Labourer Hourly rate of £14.50 for all hours, no overtime at weekends. Required for 1 day a week initially - day and hours will increase in the new year. This is an ongoing position (depending on performance). Welfare Labourer CSCS card required along with a minimum of six months' experience needed in a similar role. Welfare Labourer You will be working as a Welfare Labourer on a building project carrying out duties including keeping site clean, cleaning and tidying welfare areas such as site offices, kitchen, canteen and toilets

Job Responsibilities * Carry out regular cleaning of welfare facilities, including:Toilets, washrooms, and showers * Canteens and kitchenettes * Offices, meeting rooms, and corridors * Drying rooms and changing areas * Empty bins and manage waste disposal in line with site procedures. * Replenish supplies (soap, hand towels, toilet rolls, sanitiser, etc.). * Ensure welfare areas are kept tidy, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards. * Report any damages, defects, or maintenance needs to the site supervisor. * Support general housekeeping duties across site where required. * Work collaboratively with other labourers and contractors to maintain safe working conditions. * Follow all health, safety, and security protocols.
