About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Supervisor to lead our busy fabrication shopfloor.
This is a pivotal role responsible for keeping production running efficiently, ensuring jobs move through the factory on schedule, and maximising labour utilisation across all departments.
You’ll act as the key link between production and management, driving performance, productivity, and quality standards across the shopfloor. Salary is negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shopfloor
* Ensure all work progresses in line with production schedules
* Monitor workflow across departments (laser, fabrication, finishing)
* Identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays
* Allocate labour effectively and ensure accurate job clocking
* Track job timings against estimates to improve efficiency
* Act as the main point of contact for shopfloor staff
