They were established over 40 years ago and have provided services to their clients nationally ever since. They work on a range of large scale infrastructure projects as well as conservation and others. Your new role My client is looking for an experienced ecologist to support an ongoing infrastructure project. You will be conducting habitat assessments, protected species surveys, ECoW and producing reports of your findings for the client - this will be alongside any other support on the project they may require. This contract can be offered outside IR35. This is an initial 20-week contract with work anticipated to run through to the end of the year. The position will involve overseeing vegetation clearance activities and carrying out bird and nesting checks adjacent to a protected SSSI area on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. Candidates should ideally have at least two seasons' experience, hold the appropriate protected species licence(s), and possess a valid CSCS card.
