Key Responsibilities
Assist teaching staff in implementing differentiated learning activities and targeted interventions.
Provide direct support to pupils with ALN, ensuring access to learning in line with individual development plans (IDPs).
Support personal care routines where required, including feeding, mobility assistance, and hygiene tasks.
Contribute to behaviour-regulation and communication strategies in line with school policies.
Monitor and record pupil progress, noting changes in behaviour, engagement, or wellbeing.
Maintain a safe, orderly classroom environment and follow all safeguarding and health-and-safety protocols.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and external agencies as directed.
Assist with preparation of classroom materials and structured learning resources.
