The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SEND team, and wider staff to deliver consistent support tailored to the child's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil in EYFS with SEND, ensuring they can fully engage in daily routines and learning activities.
Assist with implementing personalised learning plans and behavioural or emotional support strategies.
Encourage the child's communication, social skills, independence, and confidence.
Support the class teacher with EYFS activities, resources, and classroom organisation.
Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment where the child feels supported.
Contribute to observations and feedback to track progress and identify areas for development.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in an EYFS or primary school setting.
A nurturing, patient, and supportive approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
