We are working closely with a number of SEMH schools, Pupil Referral Units and Alternative Provisions seeking resilient, adaptable teachers who are passionate about supporting pupils who have faced barriers to mainstream education.
This is a highly rewarding role for teachers who thrive in smaller settings and are confident working with challenging behaviour, trauma-informed practice and complex needs.
The role will involve:
Teaching small classes of pupils with SEMH and additional needs
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and re-engagement with learning
Building positive, consistent relationships with pupils
Working collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs and pastoral teams
To be considered, you must:
Hold QTS or QTLS (essential)
Have experience working in an SEMH, PRU or Alternative Provision...
