Job description Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND. We are currently looking for a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent to provide KS1-KS4 Maths and English support on a 1:1 basis who is not currently accessing mainstream education. The students have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD. As they have been out of education for some time, they require support with their core subjects, Maths and English, however will be working at a lower level. The tutor will need to assess their current ability and reintroduce education into their routine whilst a suitable school provision is found. We have a high demand for one-to-one Tutors with SEN experience in the Peterborough Area. The Opportunity As an Outreach Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 lessons that are tailored to each student. The aim of tuition will be to support in the re-integration process of education. The tuition is replacing school for these young people and each individual is commissioned a certain amount of hours.
