Job Title: Site Manager (Housing) – Short-Term Contract
Location: Oldham
Rate: £24–£25 per hour
The Opportunity:
A well-respected regional housebuilder is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a short-term assignment on a flagship residential development in Oldham. This is their largest scheme to date, offering a great opportunity to join a high-performing team on a busy and fast-paced site.
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will take a hands-on, proactive approach to managing daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You will be expected to hit the ground running and provide strong leadership across trades and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day site activities on a large-scale housing development
* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are progressing to programme
* Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance
* Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control
* Liaise with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
* Identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential/housing developments
* Proactive and solution-focused approach
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Valid CSCS (Black Card)
* SMSTS certification
* First Aid qualification
