Sorting Operative
Pay rate: £12.60
Working hours: 09:00–17:00 - Monday–Friday
Are you organised, energetic and ready to make a real difference each day? We’re looking for dedicated Sorting Operatives to join a busy Stock Hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a positive, supportive environment, working closely with a brilliant team of volunteers to sort and prepare donated items for stores across the region.
What you’ll be doing:
* Sorting, processing and preparing donated stock efficiently to meet daily targets
* Working closely with volunteers—motivating, supporting and guiding them through daily tasks
* Categorising items accurately to match sales trends and store needs, ensuring the right stock goes to the right place at the right time
* Supporting the Hub Manager with waste management and sustainability efforts
* Using IT equipment and stock management systems confidently
* Contributing to a friendly, inclusive and positive workplace culture

* Someone who enjoys working with people and supporting volunteers
* Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
* The ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment
* Confident IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
* A proactive, reliable and hands‑on attitude
