Warehouse Operative Vacancy - Manchester
We are recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment and is keen to learn and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing orders ready for despatch
Supplying factory departments with required materials
Loading and unloading vehicles
General warehouse, yard, and housekeeping duties
Manual handling and some heavy lifting
Learning to operate and set a production machine (full training provided)
Shifts
Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am
Requirements
Previous warehouse or manual handling experience (preferred but not essential)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
Positive attitude and willingness to work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Ability to work with urgency and learn new processes
Willingness to learn how to set and operate machinery
Pay
The role will be paid at minimum wage initially, increasing once you can demonstrate the ability to set the machine independently without supervision.
