Job Title: Year 2 Teacher
Location: York
Start Date: April / May 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (Guaranteed Pay)
Pay: £160 to £250 per day
A Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) that I am exclusively work within the York area, are looking for an enthusiastic Year 2 teacher. The role starts in April / May 2026 and will run until the Summer break in the first instance, with a view to becoming permanent.
It is essential you have experience teaching Year 2 or KS1. You will need to be organised, innovative and draw on the students interests to ensure progress is made.
The trust / school will provide you with SOW, resources and will provide you with opportunities to access the CPD programme. The successful teacher will work with a team of specialists and will inspire all students to make progress. You wll also have the support of a Teaching assistant within your class.
To be considered for the role of Year 2 teacher you must:
*Have experience teaching Year 2 / KS1 within a UK school
*Manage lesson preparation in line with school policies
*Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
*Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
