Key Responsibilities

Casework & Assessments: Manage allocated cases, completing risk assessments and care planning in line with the Care Act.

Safeguarding: Lead enquiries using "Making Safeguarding Personal" principles to keep residents safe.

Legal Duties: Attend courts and tribunals; act as a Best Interest Assessor (BIA) or be willing to train for the role.

Commissioning: Negotiate care placements to ensure value for money and quality of service.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely data on the CareFirst system.
