Electrical Launch Engineer (C) wanted for rolling contract based in Halewood, Liverpool
Location: Halewood, Liverpool
Duration: 12 Months (rolling)
Hourly rate: £27.21ph INSIDE IR35 (Via Umbrella Solutions)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Level: A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Responsibilities typically include:
* Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
* Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
* Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
* Part of the wider launch team
* supporting new vehicle launch readiness
Skills:
* Conversant with software download tools
* Able to work in a launch Environment
* Motivated and good understanding of vehicle launch and supporting plant activities and crisis reviews
* Quality mindset essential
* Previous launch experience around End of line and integration support mandatory
* Canalyzer and other Dev-aids experience essential
* The role is Onsite support and will vary across various vehicle related systems
* Ability to work on their own and as part of a Launch team
* Must have a driving license as may be required to move vehicles and verify functionality
* Ability to ready Electrical diagrams and experience of vehicle launch’s
Education:
Computer literate Educated to HNC or degree level
