EYFS/KS1 HLTA
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join a welcoming primary school in the DN12 area. This is a morning-only role, working Wednesday to Friday, supporting pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1 from after Easter until the end of the academic year in July 2026.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, covering classes where required, and supporting the development of young learners in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS and KS1
* Provide high-quality classroom support and lead learning activities
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Proven experience working within EYFS and/or KS1 settings
* Strong classroom management skills
* A flexible and proactive approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
