About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Ganger to join our growing construction team in West Malling. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for supervising site operatives, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of site operatives
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations
Allocate tasks and manage workflow efficiently
Liaise with site managers and other trades on-site
Monitor quality of work and ensure project specifications are met
Maintain site records, including timesheets and progress reports
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure team compliance with safety proceduresRequirements:
Proven experience as a Ganger or in a similar supervisory role within construction
Strong leadership and communication skills
Valid Gold CSCS card (Required)
SSSTS or SMSTS certification (Required)
Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret site drawings and plans
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
