SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) - Haringey, North London (Immediate Start) Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role in a supportive and community-driven primary school? Position: SEND TA Start Date: Immediate (subject to vetting checks) Location: Haringey, North London Pay: £100 per day (PAYE) Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm Contract: Part-time (with flexibility), until July 2026 Potential Extension: September 2026 We are pleased to be working with a welcoming primary school in Haringey that is seeking a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. Role Overview Position: Teaching Assistant Start Date: Immediate (subject to vetting checks) Location: Haringey, North London Pay: £100 per day (PAYE) Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm Contract: Part-time (with flexibility), until July 2026 Potential Extension: September 2026 Key Responsibilities In this role, you will support teaching and learning across the school, helping to create a positive and engaging environment for pupils. Responsibilities include: Supporting pupils across Reception to Year 6 within the classroom Delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress Providing additional support for children with SEND Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing Helping to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment Adapting to different classroom settings and pupil needs with flexibility Supporting wider school activities, including opportunities to assist with Breakfast Club and After School Clubs for additional hours The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant Be confident supporting pupils with SEND Have experience delivering small group or 1:1 interventions Be adaptable, proactive, and able to use initiative Have a positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential About the School This friendly and inclusive primary school in Haringey has a strong sense of community, with positive relationships between staff, pupils, and families.
