We are currently recruiting a buyers to join a well‑established manufacturing site in Eastbourne on an initial 12‑month temporary assignment. For the right candidates, there is the potential to move into a permanent role after six months. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive procurement team, contributing to day‑to‑day buying activities in a busy production environment. The Role As a Temporary Buyer, you will support procurement operations to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently and delivered in line with business requirements. Key responsibilities include: Raising and managing purchase orders Liaising with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and issue resolution Supporting cost, quality and delivery objectives Working closely with internal stakeholders to support production schedules Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier records What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement role Available to work on a PAYE temporary basis Local to Eastbourne or within a one‑hour commute Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in a manufacturing or engineering environment Working Hours & Location 37 hours per week One day working from home per week If you're an experienced Buyer looking for a long‑term temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent, we'd love to hear from you
