Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of our client based in North Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver seeking steady, ongoing work with excellent PAYE rates and consistent day shifts.
The Role:
As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to a mix of construction sites and residential addresses across the region. The role involves operating a HIAB crane, with regular use of a brick grab attachment.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing an average of 8–14 drops per day
Delivering to both site and residential locations
Operating the HIAB crane safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading using HIAB (brick grab experience desirable)
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Providing a professional and customer-focused service
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Minimum of 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
At least 6 months’ HIAB experience (essential)
Valid HIAB certification (ALLMI or equivalent)
Brick grab experience desirable
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
