About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Unqualified Teacher to join a Primary SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Audenshaw from September.
This position does not require formal teaching qualifications; however, previous experience in a similar setting is essential.
You will be responsible for supporting a small group of children up to the age of 6 within a nurturing, structured environment. The role is highly active, with a strong focus on outdoor learning, trips, and hands-on activities rather than purely academic work.
The key aim is to build pupils’ confidence, social skills, and emotional resilience, creating a positive and engaging early learning experience.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a small group of children with SEMH needs

Deliver engaging, activity-based learning both indoors and outdoors

Support emotional regulation, confidence, and social development

Create and maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet individual pupil needs
Requirements

Experience working with children in a similar setting (e.g. SEMH, SEN, behaviour support, youth work)

Strong behaviour management skills
