COVER SUPERVISOR – BIRMINGHAM
We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and support students in a secondary school setting.
ROLE DETAILS
* Location: Birmingham
* Hours: Full-time / Part-time available
* Start: ASAP
* Contract: Ongoing / Temporary
* Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
* Support students with their work and keep them on task
* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
* Work across a range of subjects and year groups
REQUIREMENTS
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Confident managing groups of students in a classroom setting
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
