Plater (Heavy Industrial / Boiler Experience) Location: London & South East (Lodge Available) Rate: PAYE in line with NAECI + London Enhancement + Overtime Shift: 11 days on / 3 days off | 12-hour shifts Duration: Long-term We are recruiting for experienced Plater / Fabricators with a strong background in heavy industrial environments, ideally with boiler installation experience, to join a major Energy from Waste (EfW) project in the South East. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile power infrastructure scheme, working with a leading contractor on a large-scale build delivering critical energy infrastructure. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out plating and fabrication works on boiler systems, structural steel, and associated plant, working within a safety-critical, QA-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out plating, fabrication, and assembly of steelwork and boiler components Interpret and work from engineering drawings and fabrication details Measure, mark out, cut, shape, and fit materials to required specifications Assemble and install steel plate structures, pipe supports, and associated components Work closely with welding and mechanical teams to support installation activities Ensure all works are completed in line with quality standards and specifications Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and permit systems Requirements Proven experience as a Plater / Fabricator within heavy industrial environments Experience working on boilers, power plants, or similar infrastructure projects (preferred) Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings Experience working with structural steel and plate fabrication CCNSG, SSSTS or SMSTS (CCNSG can be arranged if not currently held) Relevant trade certification (Technical trade test available if UK ECITB certification is not held; however, some form of trade qualification is required) Valid Right to Work in the UK Rates & Package PAYE – paid in line with NAECI agreement + London Enhancement Overtime available Lodge/accommodation support (subject to location) Long-term project with consistent work and stability Apply If you are an experienced Plater / Fabricator with heavy industrial or boiler experience and are available for upcoming work, please apply with your CV or get in touch for a confidential discussion
