Support Worker – Temporary Ongoing 🌟 Brighthire Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Support Workers to join our temporary workforce in Colchester. 🏡 About the Role You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live as independently as possible and stay involved in their local communities. This is a person-centred role where no two days are the same. 🧩 Key Responsibilities • Making a real difference in the lives of the people you support • Supporting individuals with daily routines using a person-centred approach • Keeping care plans and records accurate and up to date • Helping with day-to-day tasks to promote independence • Working closely with managers and colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality support • Supporting with personal care and manual handling when required ⭐ What We Are Looking For • Minimum 6 months UK care experience • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour (verbal or physical) • Understanding or experience of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) • Calm, reliable, and compassionate approach • Strong communication skills • Must be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK (Skilled Worker visa holders welcome) • An enhanced DBS on the update service is ideal; however, we can support you to obtain a new DBS if required • Training refreshers and updates can also be supported where needed 💼 What We Offer • Weekly pay • Flexible working hours to suit your availability • Ongoing temporary assignments • Supportive and approachable office team 📞 For more information, please contact Emma Brown at Brighthire Recruitment on (phone number removed) (Option 2) 📧 Or send your CV to (url removed)
