Minibus Driver
Location: Tunbridge wells
Contact type: Temporary, short term
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 4:30pm
Pay: £14-£15ph
At academics, we are currently looking for a punctual minibus driver for a short-term weekday transport role. This position involves transporting children and a staff member between school and activity locations, ensuring a safe, smooth, and comfortable journey at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and drive the minibus for scheduled daily transport runs
Safely transport children and staff between education and activity sites
Ensure passengers are supervised and transported in a safe and responsible manner
Maintain a calm, friendly, and professional approach at all times
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and road safety procedures throughout the journeyRequirements
Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement
Previous minibus or passenger transport experience preferred
Good timekeeping and communication skills
Friendly, patient, and dependable attitude
Enhanced DBS check preferredThis role would suit someone dependable and organised who enjoys working in a school transport environment and takes pride in providing a safe and positive experience for young passengers.
