Teaching Assistant - Hackney Secondary

💰 Pay: £95-£110 per day (based on experience)
A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Hackney is on the lookout for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a student with special educational needs. This is an ideal role for someone interested in pursuing a career in SEN, educational psychology, or therapy.
You'll play a key part in helping a young person access learning, regulate emotions and build essential life skills.
Your Role:
Work closely with a student who has an EHCP
Implement SEN strategies and support learning
Provide help with social, emotional and communication needs
Track progress and adapt approaches with guidance from the SENCOYou'll Need:
A degree and an interest in SEN or youth support
Patience, empathy and resilience
Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn
Some experience with young people is an advantageWe Offer:
