The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee finishing works on a large residential development in Bristol comprising a mixture of apartments and traditional housing.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity to join a busy project team delivering high-quality residential units through the final stages of construction, snagging, commissioning, and handover.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for all finishing and internal works across the development, ensuring units are completed to a high specification and handed over on programme.
You will manage finishing trades, coordinate subcontractors, monitor quality standards, and drive programme performance across multiple plots and apartment units within a live construction environment.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, quality focused, and confident managing busy finishing phases on large residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all finishing and internal works across apartments and housing plots
Overseeing snagging, de-snagging, and quality control procedures
Coordinating subcontractors and finishing trades on site
Ensuring units are delivered to programme and client expectations
Managing health & safety compliance throughout finishing stages
Conducting inspections and maintaining high-quality standards across all works
Supporting handover, commissioning, and client liaison activities
Maintaining site records, progress reports, and project documentation
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager or Finishing Manager on residential developments
Experience working on apartments, housing, or mixed residential schemes
Strong attention to detail and quality management skills
Excellent communication and subcontractor coordination ability
Ability to manage fast-paced finishing programmes and multiple work areas
