Production Operative – Mint Processing

Select Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client based in Easton NR9, for a Production Operative to join their busy mint processing team. This is a practical, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a hardworking production environment.
Two shift options available - Earlies 06:00 - 14:00 OR Lates 14:00 - 22:00
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will play an important part in maintaining the quality of fresh mint products during the production process. Working on the line, you will help ensure only high-quality mint continues through processing while supporting general site operations.
Main Duties
Inspect and sort mint on the conveyor line, removing any unwanted sprigs or material.
Support the unloading of mint deliveries from lorries when required using a pitchfork.
Keep your workstation clean, organised, and in line with site hygiene standards.
Follow all health and safety procedures and report any incidents or near misses.
Assist with additional duties across the site as needed – full training will be provided.
Candidate Requirements
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early starts and later finishes.
Reliable with a positive attitude and good attention to detail.
Able to follow site procedures and instructions carefully.
Previous production experience is helpful but not essential as training is provided.
