Site Manager – Night Shift
Location: Canvey Island, Essex
Please note: Due to the night shift working pattern, preference will be given to candidates who are based in Canvey Island or the surrounding areas and can reliably commute to site.
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a major refurbishment project on Canvey Island.
This is a night shift position working on a rotating schedule of 4 nights on / 4 nights off. The project operates across a 7-night working week, and this shift pattern provides excellent work-life balance while ensuring consistent site management coverage throughout the programme.
Project Scope
The project involves a full internal strip-out and refurbishment, including:
* Removal of existing walls, floors and ceilings
* Installation of new walls, floors and ceilings throughout the building
* Installation of new finishes throughout the building
* Coordination of subcontractors and site activities
* Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard
Site Manager Requirements
Applicants must hold:
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
* CSCS (Black Card preferred)
Applicants should also have:
* Proven experience managing refurbishment and fit-out projects
* Strong health and safety knowledge
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
