Job Title: Painter - Fire Door Casings, Frames & Doors
Rate: £20 per hour (CIS)
Duration: 1-2 weeks
Location: Crumpsall
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced painter to complete high‑quality finishing on fire door casings, frames and doors. Immediate start available.
Key Duties:
Surface preparation - sanding, filling and priming fire door casings, frames and doors
Applying coatings - undercoats and topcoats applied to a professional standard
Maintaining fire‑door integrity - ensuring seals, hardware and compliance are not affected
Protecting surrounding areas - masking, sheeting and maintaining a clean workspace
Minor repairs - addressing small defects prior to painting
Quality checks - ensuring a consistent, high‑quality finish
Efficient workflow - managing time to meet the project schedule
Tool and material care - maintaining brushes, rollers and equipment
Requirements:
CSCS card required
Asbestos Awareness certificate required
Proven experience painting fire doors and frames
Own tools and transport
