Early Years Teaching Assistant 📍 North London ⏰ Full-Time | Term Time Only We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic and proactive Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in North London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The Role: * Supporting children within the Early Years classroom * Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy activities * Encouraging learning through play and creative activities * Providing one-to-one and small group support where required * Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment * Supporting children’s social development and emotional wellbeing * Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines The Ideal Candidate: * Experience working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting * A positive, patient and caring attitude * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents * Passion for supporting children’s learning and development * CACHE Level 2/3 qualification desirable but not essential What the School Offers: * A friendly and supportive team * Excellent leadership and mentoring * Opportunities for training and development * A welcoming and inclusive school community * Excellent transport links across North London If you are passionate about early years education and would love to make a real difference in a child’s school journey, we would love to hear from you.
