We are currently working with a Local Authority in the South who are seeking experienced Building Surveyors for a variety of exciting opportunities. These roles offer exposure to diverse projects within local authorities, housing associations, and private sector portfolios.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting property inspections and condition surveys
* Producing detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of work
* Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and capital works projects
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and health & safety standards
* Providing professional advice on building defects, repairs, and improvements
* Liaising with contractors, clients, and key stakeholders
✅ Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Building Surveyor role
* Strong knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and defects
* Experience delivering projects across residential and/or commercial portfolios
* Familiarity with contract administration and project management
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* MRICS (or working towards) desirable but not essential
