Maintenance/Repairs Assistant

Your new company An established Housing Association based in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. Your new role Administer and coordinate day-to-day reactive repairs and maintenance requests Act as a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and internal teams Raise and manage work orders, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records Monitor progress of repairs and follow up on outstanding works Liaise with contractors regarding job progress, access, and invoice queries Support planned, cyclical, and compliance-related maintenance programmes Assist with arranging inspections and ensuring access is secured within required timescales Deliver a professional, customer-focused service across all communication channels What you'll need to succeed Previous experience within a Housing Association or social housing environment Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance processes Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience using Homemaster (or similar housing management systems) is highly desirable.What you'll get in return Contract until mid/end July initially What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
