We’re looking for resilient, adaptable Behaviour & Inclusion Support staff to work across specialist settings in North Leeds. These are settings supporting young people who may have been excluded, experienced barriers in mainstream education, or need a more tailored approach to learning. This is about second chances. What you’ll be doing Supporting students across a range of age groups, from younger learners through to KS3, KS4 across a different settings and ages. Working 1:1, in small groups, or within larger classroom settings as and where the school need.  Helping young people who need structure, consistency, and understanding to feel safe and ready to learn Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may communicate through behaviour Staying calm when emotions run high and being the steady adult in the room This isn’t about simply managing behaviour. It’s about understanding what sits behind it. You’ll thrive here if you: Stay calm under pressure and don’t take challenging moments personally Understand that behaviour is communication Can adapt quickly to different environments, age groups, and classroom sizes Are flexible and happy to move between specialist sites, sometimes at short notice Believe every young person deserves support, patience, and a fresh start Bring warmth, consistency, and clear boundaries every day What you’ll need An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through us Two recent references A solid understanding of safeguarding A flexible, proactive approach A big heart and steady presence Why join Protocol Education?
